DUNCAN HARPER
ABOUT ME

Duncan Harper is an East Anglian Fenlander by birth. He has lived in various places including Cornwall, Bristol, Montreal, Boston, Guatemala, Granada, Madrid and Valencia, where he currently resides.
Never fully connected to the real world, the study of politics and law at the universities of York and Madrid was considerably diluted by research into medieval history and European and Scandinavian myths and legends.
Subsequent to a mercifully brief spell as a lawyer in Gloucester, he conjured up a job as a legal translator and university lecturer in Spain. He now translates and writes in equal measure, with the help and encouragement of his wife and editor, Sophie.
He is the author of Witch of the Fall, the first novel of the Forests of Exile eco-fantasy series, the novella Revenants, and several short stories.
